I found his video on youtube that modder name is Dandrich

If some of those x2m were not done by the author, I could do a blacklist of md5 (or better the guid) for next version of the installer, but I would need to know first if the x2m was done by the original author or if the guy of the video took the mod files and created a x2m package, I could only block the second case here.

No he didn't credit us of all he took just all mod's and gave author name means creator package

really? that's so unfair :/ on storm 4 the problem was the same but peaple can't do anithing against that except maybe i took my storm 4 experience , in my old roster mod i encrypt my cpk with that nobody can extract it , is it possible maybe to make that system on xenoverse?

Are we really going to do this now? Why not just you know, report the guy on the Xenoversemods website, and have that mod taken down? Previous people who have stolen or used stolen mods have been reported and their mods have been taken down from the website.

Putting a system in place to prevent mods from being used or having some type of security is ridiculous. Hell I have used parts of peoples mods to help my own mods. But I have never uploaded it on youtube, or on any website. I have never shared it to the public. I'm sure countless people in this community have done the same to help better their mods, or use ideas. Hell even big youtubers have uploaded peoples mods and gave credit to the original person responsible.

Now we are just going to say  ****  it and have more added security? The guy could still upload the mod on youtube(because you make it public) without crediting so it doesn't solve the "issue" either way. Sorry but we not all modding experts. Some of us are beginners and intermediates, and we don't exactly have universal guides that explain everything about modding and can make us experts on modding for every game.


I really hope I am misinterpreting this. Because now I can't even enjoy working on mods on my own spare time? Even when said mods are released to the public? What if someone has a  2nd form demigra mod, but I want to improve it? Now that's not possible? What if someone does a mod, but I want to change the clothes on it? Now that's not possible.  What about the  Fused Zamasu mod that was released a good while ago? What if someone wants to use that base, and add in his mutated arm and body  for when he fought Vegito? So we are just saying that customizing people's mods is now removed, just because of some bad apples?


What about people who don't really care if someone uses their mod for other things as long as they get credit? So now a universal thing is being added in that is speaking for them?

Because the issue to me is that people share  other peoples mods without permission. but doing this hurts the modding community and it doesn't stop people from uploading mods on youtube w/o someones permission.

Because at that rate, you might as well make your  mods patreon or buyable only. You know, turn some people away in order to make a profit. Oh wait, some people have already tried that, and some people have  stopped that entirely.

Yea I came across these guys the other day from youtube. The pack they have put together is just all round terrible. It's mostly poorly converted XV1 mods with some XV2 mods thrown in. Really sucks that people like this exist.

Excuse me i'm french so my english is not really good, it's been a while since i follow xenoverse's modders community i've seen a lot of thief take the job of other people and they say they are their own without any credits. Dandrich the modder who make this pack with the help of his community don't appropriate all of the mods he just wanted to do something for people who are not able to make packs or even convert characters from XV1 to x2m. It respects the work of the original modders and just wants to make things easier for the community. All of this is not for the purpose of making money or other and yet it takes a lot of time just like other modders. I do not have time to create mods or to convert all of them because of my studies I am happy to find this kind of things. You're all great modders, some of you make make mods in order to make money other no, but here's life. So guys i ask you just one thing i know i'm not important in the modder community but if you have'nt been credited in this pack, what i can't understand, dm me and i will talk to him personnaly but i can't tell him to delete some stuff on it maybe you can collaborate with him to make this pack greater it's not for him it's for your fan community. I love the work you did guys, you make this game complete.
