Now I have more than then I have 198 mods installed, some like max 20 are added to existing slots. But the number of slots? You could count them in the slot editor, just count one row and multiply by 3. There is a shortcut you could use to make counting the slots less of a pain. Use the slot editor, drag the last slot (with middle or right button) outside of the program to a browser, to any text field in a browser (address bar, search bar, and even the text fields in this forum), and it will paste a text like this "[CSS_SLOT]Number", where Number is a number. The number of slots is that number + 1. At least, it works in firefox, not sure on other browsers (not all of them may allow this kind of drag and drop).

I keep getting this message:
bool _cdecl Xenoverse2::CompileCharaSel(const class std::basic_string <char, struct std::char_traits<char>,class std::allocator<char> > &): Compiler failed. Ret=2 A ret of -1 may indicate a non existing compiler. A ret of 1 may indicate an error in the compile process. A ret of 2 may indicate that 32 bits version of Java is not installed. A ret of 6 may indicate problems between the compiler and the java installation. Compiler path=C:\flex_sdk_4.6\bin\mxmlc.exe chasel_path (relative) = Internal\CharaSele

Did you install the 32 bits version of Java as the error suggests?

The one that's linked on the mod page? Yeah, I installed that one like 10 times.
EDIT: Never mind, I finally got it to work.

Updated to 0.5.
Changelog 0.42->0.5
- (common) Added support for custom selection screen voices. - (common) Different costumes can now have different character names (on modder choice) - (Installer) Updated requirements of xv2patcher to 0.72.
-----------------------
Incidentally, after installing at least one mod with version 0.5, one of the game bugs (read: caused by Dimps/QLOC) will get fixed. This is the bug "Cabba and Frost don't have css sounds". This only affects css sounds, it won't affect any other sound bug of the game (like Cabba and Frost talking in japanese in english version).

I have 241 slots, do I have to reinstall all my mods with this update? No.That kind of thing will only have to be done on releases after big game updates.

I don't think you can fix it except by merging slots. The game probably has some limit of resources somewhere. My believe is that the limit may be related to the number of different css images loaded at the same time, but this is a only a theory atm. But it would explain why my artificial tests didn't show the error while your data had the error.

But will you fix it with a xv2patcher update?

So it turns out that has nothing to do with the xv2patcher.ini as suspected and the only way for me to play the game with mods is to play offline with no internet connection. It's pretty bizarre to say the least, perhaps I won't have as much trouble as I am right now when 0.5 gets released. Are you sure it is caused by xv2patcher, and it is just not a coincidence? Does it happen if you delete the data directory? (e.g. a mod may be causing this, and not xv2patcher, xv2patcher just enables the mod at data). Have you tried multiple times (no, one or two is not enough) with and without the patcher to verify it? Because there are reports of server problems in Steam. Hi eternity, As I've mentioned before, I've already done all the fact checking, multiple times. The game will work online if I remove the installer and patcher, or if I set my Steam account to offline. I made sure the .ini was not altered in any way (extracting it directly from the rar file to the folder), cleared the data directory, loaded the game with and without mods installed yet the game will not load if I have the xv2patcher and installer. This only began happening after I updated both the installer and the xv2patcher. If you want further proof, I could record the whole process for you as to what I do, but I'm pretty sure I'm doing things correctly.

Unless there were random memory overwrites (which lead to undefined behaviour, although most of times end in a crash) or the game was checking something (unlikely, it would happen to more people), there aren't more possible reasons for the patcher to cause this. Anyway, give a test to all of this, in no particular order: - Disable antivirus or any other similar program that modify other programs behaviour. - Uninstall the game, reinstall it. (you may have custom cpk from some mods, this would help to get rid of those). - Backup your DBXV2.sav file. Delete it, and check if it works without it. - Go turning off ("false"), patch by patch, in the ini file (in Patches section), to see if the game works after you disable a specific one. Note that mods won't work without some of the patches, this is just to test which patch could be causing that. (make sure to make all tests without a data directory)

I've run into an issue. It didn't happen at first, but now i repeatedly get the error Pictured. imgur.com/v7xsniU This is after multiple fresh installs of the Mod Loader, and game cache verifications. I honestly don't understand why it worked at first but now it doesn't.

I don't have plans to research that limitation in the near future. It is something that would take much time away from other things. In the future, when I have finished several things, I may consider it, but not right now.

I honestly don't understand why it worked at first but now it doesn't. Well, thats a failure in the flex sdk / java, reinstalling the game or the mods loader won't have any kind of effect on that. Have your system had some java update lately? Anyway, you could try to give a try to the troubleshooring for error 5, to see if it makes a difference.

I'll try uninstalling and Reinstalling Java, because i've tried reinstalling Flex SDK. I'll get back to you with the results.
