Hi everyone. Just to say , with Lazybone we just finish the job on effects. So: -Bsa, Eepk, Emp, Ecf are take care with Lazybone's xv2-xml-serializer-Etr is take care by XenoXmlConverter witch is now updated. -And I have added the tool "EmpEmd" to extract Emg parts in certain Emp file and to the inverse job , after editing emd. Tutorials are finish , but I have to make them. So it will be good in few hours.

Hi. Thank to send me the file (i haven't update dlc yet for reasons). You are totally right, it's look the same format as iggyTex, the proof is in the file , the main tag is the same oggytex, and also there is some DDS just integrate into. I just add "iggyted" in extension to load, on iggytexPack, and it's work. SO. for you today, you just have to rename the extension to edit it without change the tools. But for me, I see there is the same kind of troubles as EmbPack (witch give the version2) : order of file in repack, it's a little bit a lottery, depend of the name of the file, of windows, of the order inside the folder, etc. And also, in emb, we see sometime, there is duplication of file. The thing is order of file are importants because configs files use a Index on this order. So. I will try to add the same as embXml.xml, a list of the file, with them order, to try to rebuild in the same way.

Ok glad I could help, it's just that I like doing GUI mods and the devs put some sources in those files and when I repacked them, the graphics glitched out

Hi guys. I just updated the XenoXmlConverter. It's a alpha for convert map files into Xml and vis versa. It's a alpha , so it's could not work because it's not tested a lot. Normally, it's should work because I have some file where the binary is the same (others is because of some strange shortcut (from them) witch don't change the way the game should read the file. it's about duplications witch sometime are avoid or not). Hope, that could help to understand and modify the map file and motivate some people to search, until I come back on it (I will make a little break for few days).

Thank. I come back on map file and Release a new alpha version, son ow, normally (difficult to test all), it's not crash the game anymore (or just say me the name of the stage and the map file).

So first, what kind of Emm do you talk ? for characters ? stages ? give a example of parameters, please.

Hi olganix, when would the .iggytex tool update to accept iggyted files be available? It's complex to update the tool for everyone will be happy : Make the tool accept to read ".iggyted" as extension, it's not a problem, I allready done that but not release. But, the trouble is to reconvert .iggyted" some time and ".iggytex" other time. People don't like to have to add a parameter to the tool, just want to drag and drop.

Material_Scale_1.x is the most important, it's the one witch could select the group of lines in the current texture in dyt.emb. in dyt texture, there is 32 lines of 4 pixels each. the 32 lines, are 8 group of 4 lines. Each group, have one line for base diffuse Color, and another for reflection/specular parameter (yellow/green degrade, witch is red + green information). each line are degrade and the shader choose witch pixel to choose. By sample, for diffuse Color line, the pixel depend of angle between surface's normal direction and light position. That why, if you want to have Zfighter shader (witch only have 3 colors : diffuse color because of shadow, normal diffuse, highLighted diffuse), you just to draw a degrade with only the 3 colors (just have to have the good ranges). So, MaterialScale_1.x, could help to have differents material on the same Emd (so with the same Textures).

what about .bat files, like unpacking and repacking cpks on XV1, but I understand that it'll be more work for you and that most users wouldn't like it year the simple solution for everyone is to deal with "iggyted" by default, and read another parameter "-iggytex" before the file , for rebuild. So , people witch want to use the old one, they just have to make a shortcut with the "-iggytex" parameter added, So they could continue to drag and drop file , but on the shortcut instead of the tool directly. I also have to do the same as Emb, create a Xml file to keep file order on rebuild. but now, I try to still motivate on Havok file (files inside in map file for walls/buildings limits, ground, destructions, etc ..) witch break my head.
