Added section about CSO, that requires new version of the installer/creator. Please, read it carefully to know how to use sounds/voices of another character or how to use custom sounds/voices. The roadmap for following versions will be this: next version will have psc and aur. And after that, I plan on researching the sev format properly to complete the audio thing. After that, there are only the Super Souls (idb file) and it will be a perfect tool! Thanks eternity

The only file involved in it that reads data from idb is psc, and for that you would not need an idb editor in the character installer.

yes. idb contains the info about the super soul, what it does and stuff. psc contains everything related to the character's stats, including the super soul he holds.

Hello guys, I managed to solve my problem; not only did I need to replace the original char folder with the mod folder (not just use the mod folder), but I also had to rename all entries in the bcs file with a hex editor: in the case of fused zamasu, I opened the bcs file with the hex editor, and replaced all JCO with ZMF, which was my character´s name/id/whatever. Hope this helps! Can you explain more please? having just the same problem as yours

Please, I'm having trouble saving the file in the Chara files section. I do the whole procedure explained here, but whenever I save it after choosing the 3 letters to not generate conflicts, it simply does not conclude saving action.

Used JCO original character folder and pasted over it the files from Xan's mod then i edited the .bcs to remove all JCO strings from it and replaced it with OMZ (which is the ID i'm using)

for some reason this and this tutorial are not compatible with each other, when i apply SK007 's mod it works fine, but when i use this tutorial to add my own characters afterwards, only the characters i add using the installer works and the others disappear.

No, really? That's weird, I bet this has nothing to do with the fact that eternity states IN THE TUTORIAL that it won't work this way. His tool assembles a new iggy after usage that replaces the currently present one. Only characters added with the installer will remain.

Maybe i didn't really pay attention to that part Sorry for that, i'm a noob with iggy

We all are. We were all trying to fight that file with our fists for almost a year now, until eternity simply snook up from behind and decrypted it with a single blow with his baseball bat.

One question, If I want to add my character to a different character's slot, like putting BGK and BVG (new outfits for SSJB) in additional slots for SSJB Goku and Vegeta, how do i do it?

There's two options when you go to install a mod. One of them is install to a new slot, the other is Install to Existing Slot.
I assume the second option allows you to add the character as a costume.

The installer will ask you if adding it to a full new slot or append to existing (that's the first time you install that specific mod, it is not asked on mod updates, except on some rare cases). If you want to change where one mod you already installed is, just uninstall it, and then install again to get the question.

I'm trying to install the Gogeta Dragon Ball Super Version mod, I think I did everything in the Chara Creator right, but in the game I just receive another Gogeta with the exact same clothes as the original, but with the skills I put.. and with less talking. I know it's something with the files, When I don't copy all the original files of Gogeta and replace with the mod ones, I get a normal Gogeta, and just with the files the mod gives me, I get a big Nothing, even if I renamed it correctly, What Should I do?

I would be testing this myself I wasn't at work, but can I use a custom portrait if it's an additional slot to GGK or GVG?

Although I changed a text that said "Use existing slot" to "Append to existing slot", because I though the first one could have been confusing.

Mhh, so it still only applies to mod-added character slots and not to vanilla characters?
