So what I'm trying to do is to make a mod where I to make a copy of vanilla characters as a .x2m file by changing the IDs, trying to do things diligently on Characreat, after making the mod and installing it, the model loads and all of that, but when I get to the loading screen it infinitely loads, I get to the log to see what files don't load and I find things like this.

How can I go about fixing this? I just gotten into modding and I don't really see any tutorials on how to make x2m's of vanilla characters and edit their stats, skills,etc.

From what you are writing, you are making the process unnecessarily complicated.

So if you just want to make a copy of vanilla character while giving them a new skillset, just use the Copy values from game button everywhere in Character creator and then import the skills you want them to have in CUS tab in Custom skills linking/embedding.

I did copy the values for the vanilla character everywhere, but when it comes to the CUS tab, I also just replaced their skills with the skills that are already in the base game, not custom skills, changing the CUS tab worked with other modded characters no problem, but not this case, Do I have to import and make the vanilla skills a .x2m file to import as a custom skill or not?

No, that should work flawlessly without any additional modding. But maybe the skills themselves are not compatible with the specific characters? I know that some skills can have effects attached to them like poison or Toppo's "Ignore ki blasts" barrier but on some it will cause infinite loading. Also some skills just outright cause infinite loading regardless of who they are placed on (Demigra's skills for example).

Who specifically are you trying to create and what skills are you giving them?

Who specifically are you trying to create and what skills are you giving them?

In this case, I'm trying to make a copy of Blue gogeta and give him a Galick Gun and Savage strike as one of his skills.

Hi.
Instead of a direct guide I'll give you my troubleshooting steps. This will better help you solve similar issues in the future:

1) Using Mod Installer, find out what ID Blue Gogeta has (TM0)
2) Using Save Editor, find out how many individual Galick Gun(1)/Savage Strike(1) skills there are
3) Export TM0 from a relatively new dump of data.cpk and rename the 3-symbol ID (GG2 in my case)
4) Using Characreat, set up your mod info tab, copy everything that can be copied from the original Gogeta Blue (including the CUS tab), swap two of the CUS skills for the ones you want
5) Save, install mod

TESTING 1 - Didn't work

1) Remove Super Mad Dance from Gogeta and try if he will work now - Didn't work
2) Remove Super Kamehameha - Works
3) Give back SMD and see if it will still work - Works = Super Kamehameha needs to be recreated manually

CREATING SUPER KAMEHAMEHA

1) Go to Skill Creator and find the specific Super Kamehameha that Gogeta uses (in the list, go to where the Ultimates begin, then type on keyboard "God" to find God Punisher, and the Kamehameha that is directly above it is the one you are looking for)
- Alternatively search for "Godly". First will be Chronoa's Ult, second will be Ultra Goku's, once you are on Goku's, search for "God" and the one directly above it is the Kamehameha
2) set up mod info (remmeber to put the skill as Ultimate)
3) In files, select the folder where you exported the kamehameha to
4) In CUS tab, copy the kamehameha data (surprisingly it is already set to be useable by all races)
5) In IDB tab, set Stars to 1 - 5; U_0A to -1; U_0C to 32001; U_0E to -1; Buy to 1
6) In PUP tab, copy the kamehameha data
7) Go to the folder where you exported the skill into
8) The last two files will be named (somethingSomething)_TM0.cam.ean & TM0.ean - DELETE the TM0 part but leave all the rest
9) Save the skill in Skill creator and embedded it onto your own Gogeta Blue
10) After embedding, the skill will be at the very bottom of the ultimate list - open one of the two ultimate slot lists and press END on your keyboard to instantly go to the bottom of the list
11) Set the skill and save the character mod

12) Install and now the Gogeta works perfectly
