I know that the request is rare, but there is some way that they fight in 2d (with a camera as in a 2d game, without going forward and in the background). I am interested in taking sprites and exporting them to mugen, but if they vary in size it is me more difficult.
To aprte there are some mods that erase the fxs of fights and blows (they look transparent), and seen from the background and the character, but I am interested in this one too
