Hello everyone, Ive been using mods for a while now, and recently have picked up the courage to try making one of my own when a great idea came to mind. Making a septum piercing for a CAC's nose. I Refuse to give this up but am having problems setting it up and without your help I really am not gonna be able to do this. I think that once I get this done everything else will open up and I can contribute a lot of mods to the community. Lots of ideas I want try to next with modelling, this one is the most basic.
Your own personal advice or More tutorials (ive watched Many about xv2 on YouTube and have read all the ones on this site regarding models as far as I know in the Tutorials section) would be g r e a t l y appreciated.
My problem is that, now that I've put the septum piercing onto the model of HUM_008_Face_nose, it does not appear in game and is completely invisible. I have joined the septum and nose together in Blender. I have Not touched the .emm, .emm.xml, .emd.xml, .emb (there are none only .dyt's), or .emb.dyt files. I have set the septum's material to SKIN_face_nose before and after joining it with the nose, so that it would be the color of skin just to see if it will appear. I have tried keeping the septum and nose seperate with both being set to SKIN_face_nose. It is still invisible and the only thing I can see is my character's nose. If I can get this done I think I can be of great use and make some unique mods. Thanks in advance <3

EDIT: I tried making an entry in the .emm.xml for a seperate material I made for the septum with its own name. I gave it a correct index. I've also tried editing the emd.xml's TextureDefinitions, only to find there are no .emb's for the nose, only .emb.dyt's. Along with that, any changes I make to the NOSE's model show up. But the septum still doesn't appear. I'm starting to think it might be a problem with meshes or materials. No idea tho.
