I am trying to modify the colors of a .DYT file to make the hair in my SS4 form appear pinkish-red instead of black, as explained in this video (the explanation was used for the bust, but if there is something else that needs to be done I can't find any explanation anywhere for the life of me):
The issue is, when I modify the DYT file by changing the colors of the DDS file in photoshop, one of two things happens every single time:
A. The color of the hair in-game becomes a brownish-color
A. The color of the hair looks yellow while looking from the front, and begins rapidly flashing changing colors when you rotate the character in-game
I have tried literally everything I can think of to fix this. I tried recoloring the top line, recoloring the bottom line, deleting the bottom line, deleting the top line, swapping the bottom and top line, turning the bottom line black, turning the bottom line white, turning the entire black square beneath both lines to white, turning the entire thing one color, NOTHING works.
