Your only option currently is to try to make the file smaller to fit in the .acb. Proper .acb handling is in my todo thing, but unfortunately, there are a pile of other things too in the list.

Yeah unfortunately, I think there isnt a software for that, yet. The only solution is trying to make the file equal or less to the original file size by cutting the Wav or mp3 file or make it lower sound rate but this last option could decrease the sound quality. Btw which software are you using? I have made some sound mods but I think I've never overpassed the file size And what happens when you exceed the file size? Is it impossible to inject it back? Or do you inject it and you have no sound or weird sound in the game? And yeah, maybe software you are using has those limitations because the "hardcoded part of the game" doesnt alow or doesnt read filesize bigger than the original.

If what you are trying to inject is a voice file, human voice doesn't need a very big bitrate. It doesn't need stereo either.
