Hi there, I'm relatively new to this modding scene, soo I've got a lot to read, but I mostly just want to ask a simple question before I take the long dive into learning, to see if this is doable.
So basically I saw a character costume that I rather like from a modded character, I was wanting to use it's clothes for CAC which sadly as far as I can tell isn't available, I would of course ask the original mod creator's permission if I could take their outfit on their character and make it CAC usable.
Anyway I just wanna know if thats...relatively doable for someone entirely new to this, I've been told by a friend who has been modding this a bit longer then I have, that I'd require blender with certain plugins?
I've been reading and haven't seen that in the tutorials yet, but I was hoping to have some of these questions answered here, just to avoid wasting time.

Modding models outside of texture work requires the use of a 3D Modelling program, and sufficient knowledge about modelling. 3DS Max and Blender are the two common programs used.

Well thats good, I have a lot of experience with 3D Studio Max, thank you for the feedback on that, but I was wondering about an already existing mod. Theres a Costume on the Xenoverse 2 mod page for a character called Towifla, I was wondering if it was possible to get the costume pieces out of that mod without having to remake them in 3Ds Max. Because its a character mod only, not a costume Mod. This is the mod in question, that I was wanting the costume from. xenoversemods.com/mods/towifla-towa-and-caulifla-fusi%C3%B3n-potara/
