Hello, i was following a tutorial on youtube for install mod on xenoverse 2 (because i finish the game, so it's kinda boring now). The problem is... I ddl the new patcher (i think, if the link on the thread is valid) and ctrlC+ctrlV him in the dbx2 folder, like in the tutorial, and now, when i launch the xv2ins, i have tree error message ==> zupimages.net/up/18/36/lsth.png any answer for that ? (ps : I'm not in mac or anithing, i just modified the apperence of my windows seven.)
I have java 32bits instaled. If they is a way to make it work WITHOUT reinstall the game, i take it, because i dont really want to reinstall the game because of my connection, it will take like forever. Thank you for the help, and sorry for the bad english :/
Oh, and i don't know if it's important, but it's not a cracked version of the game, it's the game buy via steam.

It sounds like you have a modified aura_settings.aur in [XV2Dir]data\system\ that's causing trouble. Go there, see if it's there and rename or delete it. If you did not install any mods before, you shouldn't even have that file (or a data folder for that matter).

It looks like you're using system files potentially from an older version of the game. I suggest clearing your mod installation.
A few things you should know;
1. Don't put XV2INS into the DBXenoverse folder. 2. Don't use mods that have old system files.

Now, as I said, unless you have installed mods before, you should not have a data folder in your DBXV2 installation directory at all. Try renaming the folder to data_bak or something and try again. Using old mod installations with the new game version is a bad idea anyway, as it will load outdated system files and you won't have access to the newer content.
EDIT: Hi Rai ^^

Press the windows key and r, type "%appdata%" (without quotes) and in the newly opened explorer window find the XV2INS folder. Delete that and it will reset all your XV2 Installer settings. Next time you open xv2ins.exe it should ask you for your installation dir again.

it's good, problem solved. In fact, it's normal that the installer dont ask the path with the steam version xD
