Since eternity said he’s done updating XV2 patcher because of how much of a sh** Bandai is being what are we supposed to do? Will there be another way to use our mods?

I wish people would look at the actual thread to see the numerous posts between me and Val E Ryon about the XV2 Mod Installer.

I can't say what exactly is happening, but there are already plans for it that are possibly already in motion. Don't worry, you will be able to mod again, but until further notice, you should check out the other threads on the matter. Specifically Eternity's thread on him saying he was done with the game.

Who knows. Eternity was the main guy who helped do this thing, and with him done until further notice, this puts pressure on other people. Reality is, it can take a week, 2 weeks, maybe even a month.Possibly even more. He can get something like this done in under a week, but we don't know how the others fare in comparison to him.

The hopeful side of me says that the update will come within a week, give or take. And will trust what Rai, Komodo and Val keep on reinforcing on me and others. That they had a backup plan all along, to have faith in the higher ups on this community, and to have reasonable patience.

The negative side says that no one really knows what will happen, and that the constant reinforcement are just so that the community doesn't go into panic mode and doom and gloom. That the news from Eternity was a big shocker to even the other mods and admins, and that they also didn't expect the other DLC's to release . With no proper information and no one on the team willing to share the specifics on whats going on (or being unable to) , people would be right to be skeptical. Especially since Eternity was the main one to release all his stuff and not the other guys on this forum. The modding community for XV2 is a niche, esp in comparison to other communities like Skyrim.

Eternity is only one man at the end of the day. One man can lose interest in a game, have personal issues to tend with. Sooner or later, this situation was going to come. If not for DLCPack 5, then for XV3. He's not really paid for this, so I can also see the lack of motivation to do this and to have people complain to him when he might be busy or interested in other aspects of his life. Being the big guy and doing this is a pressured situation

Actions speak louder than words, so these upcoming days or weeks will determine if what said is really true or not.

I speculate that if what said is true and it's currently being worked on, that they are aiming to release it soon(or once they know it's 100% complete) as the more time awaits, the more that people ask or make topics about it.
