When the installer fails to find the game on a standard path (eg. Steam...) on C: drive, it will continue trying to find it in standard paths installation on disks from D: to Z:, and if it fails in all of those, it prompts the user to locate SSSS.exe
Try inserting a media in that device (it is the operating system which is actually giving you that error, not SS Mods Installer), and if that's not possible, you'll have to input the ssss directory path in the configuration file of sssmins in AppData/Roaming/SSMINS/config.xml (file may not exist yet in your system).

Version 1.2 has been released.
Changes: - Support for mods to include avatars. Modders: to use this function, include a file called avatar.dds and set the SSZ_FORMAT_VERSION to 1.2 (if you don't set the version, it will be ignored by the program). I will update the tutorial later.
Remember that the .dds file should be 256x256 (DX5 without mip maps). File size should be 65664 bytes. At least that's what the game uses, sssspatcher and SS Mods Installer don't check the format at all.
- The program will now remember the last directory where a .ssz file was selected, so that next time the file dialog starts from there.
Also, a note for users:
After installing a mod with avatars, the next time you start the game, sssspatcher needs to rebuild the .emb files. This may delay the boot of the game by a few seconds. This will only happen once after you install one or more mods with avatars. But next time, it won't happen because data is cached.

The BBA error is just cosmetic. That can't be really avoided, because the game code wasn't prepared to update the BBA name text when switching from one character to other, because it assumed that they had same BBA.

Please, also note that the new avatar functionality is not compatible with old battle_STEAM.emb hacks, since those will be wiped out. I provide an alternate method for people that want to change the avatar of vanilla characters in this guide.

Airioa of Fraday works perfectly with version 1.2. You probably are still using an older version. If the help->about menu doesn't tell you that you are in 1.2, download the link again.

Anyway, if it is still not working, verify that you downloaded the latest version, 1.2. Check menu Help->about, it should say 1.2. And if you had shortcuts for the program pointing to the previous version, update that shortcut too.

I confirm that there is currently a bug (or more, like something not patched somewhere) that makes making new Andromeda (with full chains attacks) not feasible at the moment, because the chains won't appear in combat.
I'll try to fix it in the future, but it is not something that can be done in a moment. This will require more research of more pre-baked data in the .exe. It wouldn't surpise me if Andromeda has specific custom code that other characters don't have, due to its weird dual nature compared to the other characters.
This shouldn't affect people wanting to do Andromedas with limited chains (like the clothes ones).

An update about the Andromeda issue. Andromeda issues can be fixed by using CMS_ENTRY of XSY. Don't use SYN or DSY (well, for not full chains you'll HAVE to use those)
Remember that if you change the CMS_ENTRY, since the folder changes, you may need to fix some of the paths in the <ModelSpec> entry. Either use the ema, etc of XSY, or just do a "../SYN/(filename)", etc. Like this:

The techincal reasons why this thing happens still remains likely the same: characters in SYN and DSY are exceptional characters, that can have two different movesets, and the game defaults to "not full chains". But XSY only has one moveset. (these folder names actually map to a number, what I call "CMS_ENTRY", which control important things in the game).
Anyway, in the future I plan to add something that can allow a SYN or DSY character specify that it is "a full chains" andromeda. In the meanwhile, you can use the XSY workaround (the XSY workaround has the issue that you can't use V1 chains, which is why I still need to find the proper way of fixing this)

Eternity, just one question. Would it be posible that your installer gives the option of replacing a character (when you want) and on the other hand add new slot too?
