Whelp, I keep getting the infamous "Error detected: You cannot use this character in multiplayer." error.
I've tried reinstalling XV2Patcher, but it didn't work. This happened only after I reinstalled XV2 recently. The game runs fine with the patcher files in the directory, it only gives the error if the "data" folders are added.
I have a hunch that the problem might be the original cpk files, but I'm not sure.
Any ideas?

Usually it is because your cac has more attribute points applied than you can acquire through legit means.
No idea what else could cause it.

But to me, it sounds like you've edited your CaC past the limit of what's normally available, an example being what Val said with Stat Points.

Infamous? This is the first time I've heard of this error. But to me, it sounds like you've edited your CaC past the limit of what's normally available, an example being what Val said with Stat Points. I wasn't giving an example, this is the only way of "stat cheating" that the system recognizes and adresses with this error. |

I wouldn't rule out an error made by the system. If you mod too much the game tends to get weird.

I've never really experienced a thing like that, in 'any' game I've modded, but yeah, that's true.

Instead of the yace extractor I just used the old CriWare CPK extractor and it worked. |
