Kind of ridiculous that we still can't adjust the timer; 3 minutes is NOT enough time, especially in 2v2 and 3v3 matches. Does anyone know if there's a way to extend or freeze the timer outside of Cheat Engine?

Actually, I'm sure we will soon be able to do it. With eternity's log file we might be able to find the pointer that leads to the battle timer, I bet it would be easy for eternity to patch it aswell to increase it.

I hope it happens very soon. I fear it won't be that soon. He has many, many things planned for the next few versions, so this will be something for much later. Unless he likes the idea. I'll bring it to his attention, let's see what he says about this.

Well, next xv2patcher is already set out for a couple of days, and features wise, is "frozen", so maybe for another version.
Features of 0.8 will be: - Mods will be able to tell the game to autogenerate battle portraits, like the game does for CaCs. - Additionally, there will another feature to be able to dump autogenerated battle portraits to the disc. (so that it can be used as css icon, post-processed or whatever).
xv2patcher 0.8 is pretty much already finished and those features working, but I need to update all the other components that will use this functionality (the installer, the creator, Cycit and Cac2X2m), as well as updating all the source code to work with the chinese and korean languages...
Due to those languages support, next version of the installer will need the 1.04.1 version of the game that was released the day after the first version (yes, there are two 1.04.1). And I know this will give me again troubles with pirates, I'm already prepared for some people complaining about an error... (atrb_partsz)

Good news, I found the constant that is used to establish the timer of these battles. It is a constant baked into the exe with the value in seconds (180.0). When the value is changed into the float representation of infinity, the counter dissapears Tomorrow I will release a new version of the patcher with this optional patch (disabled by default). You will be able to set the time you want, including infinity.
