Updated to version 0.2. List of changes: 0.2 - (Common) Added support for cso. (Note: Mods generated with version 0.2 of the editor cannot be opened with previous version of the tools) - (Common) Improved some error messages here and there. - (Editor) A new guid can now be generated - (Editor) Awaken skills now show skill id (decimal) - (Editor) Name of character can now be copied from game too - (Editor) Skills without proper name will now show short name followed by id in decimal, instead of only the id - (Editor) Fixed a bug where the remove button in the Slots section wouldn't do the expected thing, and it would remove another entry instead. - (Installer) The message "Select slot for costume" wouldn't show costume name, but weird symbols. See the tutorial section about how to use cso for using other chars sounds or using custom sounds. Also, please note that mods created by new version of the editor won't work in old version of installer (or editor). (but of course old files are fine in new version, the program will always be backwards compatible). Users of a version previous to 0.2 would get a criptic message "Cannot write future version" if attempting to install a mod made with a higher version (I have replaced that criptic message now) |

So, I think I may have broken stuff. XV2Installer is no longer opening, even fresh downloads. I may have made it angry.
None of the programs that came with it want to operate, even running as admin.
Also, when I tried opening the game to see if that might've changed anything, every single character, modded or otherwise, had ALL of their skills changed to Kamehameha, but their Super Souls were unchanged, and then it crashed when I hovered over Jaco, who just had "Unknown Skill"
I know it isn't my anti-virus or security stopping it
I try to open it, the cursor indicates its loading for a second, and then it stops
It's not stuck in processes in Task Manager or anything, restarting my computer multiple times has done nothing, I'm at a loss.
EDIT: Okay, it seems as if it's instantly closing upon being opened, because holding down enter gives me the "multiple instances cannot be running" error. That doesn't explain why fresh installs are doing it, too, though.
EDIT 2: Solved! The solution was to delete the folder in Users/Username/AppData/Roaming, and then reinstall Xenoverse 2!

Hey, I have game version v1.160 and is not compatible with the latest version of the xv2ins and patcher. It is saying the minimum version required is v1.161. I can't update the game right now but I do think it will work if I can grab an older version of the tool. How can I do that?
Where can I download older versions of the tools? Please.

You cannot download old versions of the patcher as we only support the latest version available on Steam. Update the game via Steam.

oh that doesn't sound nice, steam doesn't support the game in India. its never been like that for anime games here. Can you suggest any way to install the mods on either v1.160 or how to update the cracked game v1.160 to the latest supported version, i am not able to go through that for now. any help would prove beneficial for me.

i have had the game for a while and ive used mods before but now it isnt loading up my dlc that i have downloaded
ive reinstalled everything and it still wont show my mods

The game has been updated to Legendary Pack 2. The number is 1.17.00. Please wait for Eternity to update the patcher.

guys I talk to everyone, of course the patcher must be updated by eternity, so there are no mods without an updated tool. as soon as we know something they will let us know.

Updated to version 3.7.
Changelog:
- (Common) Updated xv2patcher requirements to 3.7 and game requirements to >= 1.17 (note that patcher requires 1.17.01)
- (Installer) acb/awb hacks for sev audio not longer needed; exe size reduced as result.
- (Installer/Stage-Editor) Support for custom bgm in stage mods.
- (Installer/Quest-Editor) Support for new update and dlc constants
- (Stage-Editor) Bugfix: the play button will now play the proper cue id.

As stated, the game requirement of patcher is 1.17.01, which was released at (end of November?) and not the original 1.17 released at beginning of November.
A clean installation is required. The installer can detect old installation and offer to clean it.

I ask because they were working with older versions of the patcher/tools "can't remember which versions" and didn't work with v3.62.
