Last thing i did was:Add new character from X2M finish installing etc turn off my pc for a bit turned it on and then both of them didn't work Somehow the CharaList.as of the installer got corrupted somehow. Go to this folder: c:\Users\[Your username]\AppData\Roaming\XV2INS. Send me the file CharaList.as, to see if I can guess what happened, but everything points to the file being 0 size. (if it is indeed 0 bytes, there is no need to send me the file). Then, delete that file. You will have to reinstall installed mods for this file to be regenerated with the slots of those mods. It isn't 0KB but i deleted it anyways (i have a copy to send you too) i had only 2 characters added at a moment so its not a problem

Well, if it isn't 0 KB, I'm really interested in seeing it.

Thanks for creating this tool! I have a problem which really bothers me tho. Every time I try to create a x2m file by myself and install it, the character wont show up in the character selection, even tho I edited the bcs file (all of the old charas ID to the new chara ID). I got it partially to work once, when I tried to install Karoly by HeirTalent by myself. The first slot seemed to work fine, but the second one had Karolys head and the body from Bardock. Then I tried to add an old Xenoverse 1 mod into Xenoverse 2, created the x2m file, installed it and edited the bcs file, but after I just tried to "go over" the character, the game froze and crashed. I couldn't even glance at it. I tried it so many times already, even with Xenoverse 2 mods and I am tired If I install an x2m file which someone else created it works fine, but for mine it wont. It seems that the other files the modders offer to install a new slot are bigger than mine.

Every time I try to use the XV2patcher configuration for the XV2 Mod Installer, my character select screen is blank. Is there anyway I can prevent that from happening so I can actually install new character mods? Could someone possibly give me the default files? I tried re-installing the game and using the same configuration with no luck..

Hi, i found a "problem".. aaaand probably a solution; I have both Steam(original-bought) and codex version of the game (i use the codex one for mods etc)
When i tried to open "xv2ins.exe" for the first time, it said i hadn't xv2patcher (i had it, but not in the steam one).. that's because it automatically detected the steam game folder and not the one i use for mods.
If anyone have 2 versions like me, that's what i did: - go to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common"; - move somewhere else (to desktop for example) the "DB Xenoverse 2" folder; - open again "xv2ins.exe" and it will ask you for a game folder path; - put the folder path of the other version and everytime you will open "xv2ins.exe" it will use the one that you choosed; - put back the "DB Xenoverse 2" folder where it was;
Maybe this could be of help for someone in my same situation.

I tried re-installing the game and using the same configuration with no luck.. Uninstall every mod, delete data folder in your game directory, delete XV2INS folder in "C:\Users\Your_User\AppData\Roaming\", verify game cache via steam. Now download patcher 0.5 and installer 0.35 and install your mods, also verify in the cms tab of the chara creator that the bcm and bac are the same "..XXX/XXX" that should be the format

installcso falied. update_mode=0 plzzzzzz fix this plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz You had a dead id in cso, probably because of a manual mod before doing it so. Fix: run the installer, and in tools menu -> Find dead ids, answer yes to the questions,then retry the install.

Character field in CMS must use "../" For example, "../BLM/BLM" Edit: fixed, i wrote it wrong. Btw, all those mods are using same guid, so they can't be installed simulatenously. Use generate new guid to fix that.

Whenever I try to make a character into a .xm2 that has the moves super black kamehameha or aura slide, it crashes the game when I try to use the move, any fix to this?

Hello! So I've been using trial and error like crazy to figure out how to get the character creator to work, and by the looks of it, it seems to work occasionally. Sometimes, when I install the test versions, despite having a selected model, costume name, portraits, etc, it will show up in game as a character that copies the name of the character that you last selected, along with the costumes, and have no model showing. The portrait also shows up as Goku. It doesn't do this for every mod I've made, and the model files were taken straight from Android 18 in the vanilla game (Being used as my Test Model). I have edited the files with a hex editor and changed the values (from G18 to C18). I left CUS with no skills and didn't even enable CSO, PSC, and AUR. There are no mod conflicts I made sure of that. and CMS uses ../G18/G18. Any Ideas? EDIT: I got a test with Android 16 to work, not entirely sure how though, I used the same method I used to make the 18 Test.

If a mod doesn't work or "work occasionally" is because it has something badly made. I'm tired of telling people of using the fucking log of xv2patcher to know what the game is loading and not.
