ive installed the mods but when i load into the game it says i have no save file wat do i do

I know that the save files of version 1.16 and version 1.17 cannot be linked.

This is a recent bug or glitch i think. might have to do with the EAC or Steam's cloud save. My solution was to copy my saved data after im done playing (C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/userdata/*numbers/*numbers/remote/DBXV21/DBXV2.sav). It usually happens when you shutoff/restart your system. When you wanna play the same using your old save, open XV2, create new character and then back out and exit naturally (dont alt-tab, it wont work) then go back and copy your save to the DBXV21 folder and then it should take you back from when you last saved. A painful process but if you wanna maintain your progress, this is the only way that has worked for me.
