First things first, just letting you guys know:

> I used to play with 20 mods installed, give it or take it

> The last mod that I installed was the Broly DBS by the Infidels



After I installed this mod, the game was working fine with all cast characters, but my CaC was broken as hell.

All of his animations were randomized: The attacking animation was another cast character animation, the ki blast animation was the dying animation,…


So I did what was recommended by this forum: I cleaned the installation on xv2ins

With that I thought I had fixed the game, but that didn’t happen, in fact, it made the game break even more.

I was no longer able to open the game because it crashed when I went to the character selection screen. The screen went blank and after a few seconds of “loading”, the game crashed.

So far I was trying in every way to not have to reinstall the game and lose my mods.

After trying and failing I decided to reinstall the game.


However, after reinstalling the game from scratch, the game still crashes on the character selection screen!

One of the times when I opened the game I noticed that the songs from the mods that I had installed before it broke were still being recognized in the game that had just been reinstalled!

It is as if the mods that I had uninstalled were never removed from the game!


I tried all the ways to look for game files that could be hidden on the computer, but I couldn’t find anything relevant.

In fact, I already deleted all the folders that were in the “app data” folder.


Could someone help me to fix the game?
