I'm trying to figure out how to get my own image to be the title screen for the game and I have absolutely no idea how to do this. Any one know how?

Get iggytex pack and CPK Browser. Start CPK Browser, click on "Open CPK", navigate to [YourXV2Folder]\cpk\, select data1.cpk and click on open. Navigate to data 1->data->ui->iggy in the left pane and right-click on TITLE.iggytex in the right pane. Select "Extract File". Close CPK Browser. In the explorer, go to [YourXV2Folder]\cpk\data1\data\ui\iggy\ and drag TITLE.iggytex over iggytexPack.exe. There should now be another folder in there called TITLE. In there are the textures for the titlescreen and you can edit them to your hearts content. Make sure you save them in dds format with DXT5 compression without mipmaps. If you are done editing, drag the whole TITLE folder over iggytexPack.exe, then relocate the modified TITLE.iggytex to [YourXV2Folder]\data\ui\iggy\ (create the folder structure if needed). |
