IMPORTANT NOTE: If the rename you want to do doesn't fit the characters usual name (for example "Goku" or "Deku") then the renaming will not be possible in battle, since overextending the amount of letters a name has will cause a crash.
As the subject says, this is how you change characters names so they look like this:
So, for this you'll need to follow these steps:
1) Download 010 Editor , and of course, open it.
2) Go to your game files and to this path: JUMP_FORCE\Content\Paks\JUMP_FORCE\Content\Game
3) Search for a file called "systemtext_XX" (XX implying the language abreviation), systemtext_en for my case.
4) Drag it to 010 editor, once the file is opened go to the left top part of the screen and change the way of editing to "Unicode" like in the next picture
5) Press Ctrl + F and look for your characters name, the first result should be the correct one, now. for this example I'll use Goku, Goku's name is listed as "Son Goku", therefore those are 8 letters, "Gohan" only has 5. So in order to change it you'll need to start editing from the start of the name, in this case "Son", my personal recommendation is to select one letter and replace it, doing this one by one to void any problems. Now after we replace the first 5 letters, we'll have the next "Gohanoku" what we're going to do now is replace "oku" with blank spaces, giving us "Gohan "
6) Repack the file, on a separate pak from your main mod, as this can cause game crashing when it gets updated.
