*Edit. I thought this was obvious however, for the .ini file to appear then you need to go into options and then open the graphics settings menu Howdy fellars You've seen the title and are probably eager to bypass the EAC so to do this we're going to need to navigate to Xenoverse 2's "config.ini" file (If you already know how to do this then skip to the highlighted text) SKIP THIS IF YOU KNOW WHERE THE CONFIG FOLDER ISSo firstly you're gonna want to navigate to your "AppData" folder, I do this by pressing the "Windows key + s" to bring up the search bar and typing in "%appdata%" then press enter. Once you're there you'll be in your "Roaming" folder, you'll want to navigate back one folder to your "AppData" folder by using the navigation bar across the top of the file viewer. In your AppData folder you'll find three folders, the only folder you'll need to worry about for now is your "Local" folder Open your local folder, then you'll be greeted with tons of folders (atleast I was) though once again, you'll only need to worry about one folder, that being the "BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment" folder Open that bad boy and keep opening folders until you see a file called "config.ini" open it. IF YOU SKIPPED THE CONFIG FINDING PART OF THIS TUTORIAL THEN READ ON FROM HERESo, you've opened the .ini file, now navigate your way to the header that says [DEV]. There are five lines of text but we only need to worry about two Look for the lines: "EAC_AllowDisparityMatch=0" and "EAC_MultiplayerWithoutEAC=0" Now change those 0's to 1's and save the file. BAM! you can now bypass the EAC, Just remember to start DBXV 2 from the .exe in the bin folder and don't go through Steam.

it only has this:

You have been removed from the session by EAC._. Probably because your opponent still uses EAC. From what I understand, all these bypasses only allow you to play with people who also use a method of EAC circumvention.

Ok so, what do I do if the config.ini file just isn't there? I tried getting my friend to send it to me and I put that in, but It just gets me stuck at the loading screen after I pick my character. Like I cannot play this game with my friends with EAC because I keep getting the File Unknown Version and it closes my game, no amount of reinstalls / verifying game integrety bs has worked. Only thing I could see wrong with my files was that that file (config.ini) just wasnt in the folder to begin with.

I have a quick question due to rumors I've heard. Does this risk a VAC ban on the Steam account? I've heard of people recieving VAC bans from this and I know how strict it is and I want to know if it is a risk when doing this.

Xenoverse 2 doesn't use VAC so no. You can't get VAC banned from this, anyone who says otherwise is lying.

You tried removing the config.ini and validating game content?

I don't have config.ini, as I said in my post on the 24th, when I install the game, I do no receive that file, I only get the other two files that are in there. And no amount of validation or reinstalling gives me the file.

Have you tried running the game from Steam, without editing EAC in any way first?

ofc, I always get unknown file version errors 1 - 3 mins in( I have tried deleting the file it tells me then getting it back through validating), basically EAC telling me no, ur not aloud to play. Which is why I need to bypass it, but I cannot with the way that was described at the top, because I don't get the file its telling me to change when I download the game/validate the game files/ Even getting the file from the friends I want to play with doesn't work.

I've never heard of that error before, but it sounds like EAC is detecting some modified files to me. Have you tried deleting your Xenoverse 2 folder and verifying files in Steam?
Because if you have any modded files, reinstalling the game won't remove those modded files. Uninstalling the game only deletes what was there from default, so files like XV2Patcher, potentially modded CPKs, etc, won't work.
The only thing I can really suggest is if you're only looking to play the game and don't care about playing online, go to the EasyAntiCheat folder in Xenoverse 2, delete the x64 dll, and then run the game from the bin folder as admin.

is it possible to do this bypass even for modified cpk? since if you use a cpk with variations or not closed the game does not start
