Package tools:
- CriPakTools, used to extract: Link
(this is a modified version with just a .bat added, the original can be found here for reference)
- Repacker CPK, used to rebuild .cpk files: Link
(please, get used to always untick the ForceCompress checkbox, it can be problematic for Saint Seiya, and also yu will generate files much faster without it).
Audio tools:
- Eternity Audio Tool, an all in one tool for audio, with gui, it is meant to replace all the ones below (except Audacity).
- Eternity tools, a collection of command line tools that include afs2tool (to extract and create .awb files), hca_ciph_change (to fix/decrypt files converted with pes media converter), acbtool2 (to extract/inject awb from/to standalone .acb), and hcaenctool (to encode .hca files from .wav).
- hca_decode: to decode .hca files to .wav and listen them. Link
- Audacity: a tool to do all kind of things with audio, in Saint Seiya it can be used mainly to separate channels and to do volume modifications. Link
Tools to view/manipulate graphics/models formats:
- sf4viewer. Although the tool is old, and some things don't work properly with Saint Seiya Soldiers Soul, some things like hidding visibility of objects and previewing some parts can still be done with it. Injecting and extracting textures also seem to work fine. Link
- emm2xml. This is a tool of LibXenoverse to convert between .emm binary files and .xml readable formats. The one in LibXenoverse has a small problem with Soldiers' Soul files: it doesn't understand the parameter type 0x10000 (65536) that is used widely in SSSS. I fixed the code and recompiled. The recompiled version along with the only source file that was changed is here
-Script file for blender 2.49b: this is a nice script file made by a guy in Xentax forums that goes by the nickname of Szkaradek123. It can import .emo models into Blender, as well as extracting .emb textures. Usage is simple: open the blender file, press Alt+P, and select a .emo or .emb (note: the emb extraction is silent, you won't see anything in screen).
The original file was for PS3 version. I did the modifications for PC version, plus fixed some few bugs in code. Note, if you downloaded the version I posted in Steam, this one is a bit more updated (the one posted in Steam would crash with files generated by emotool2). I also documented a bit the code in the .py file, but that won't appear in the .blender version of the script. Download it here. Sadly, the script only works in version 2.49b of Blender. More modern versions of Blender use Python 3, which is incompatible. You can have an old version of Blender coexistisng with a new one. In case you have trouble finding it, Blender 2.49b is here.
The highly experimental software, emotool, emotool2 and emotool3:
- emotool is a command line tool to display information about the several parts of an .emo model file, and also from the skeleton. It can also be used to hide parts, as a replacement for sf4viewer in that area. Usage of show_info.bat and show_skeleton.bat is simple, just drag and drop an .emo file to the .bat. The remove_object can be used to hide a part, but you need to edit the .bat file to put the names of the parts. Download here.
Note that emotool won't be updated any more, as any work will be put into emotool2 (the code of emotool is unmaintainable )
- emotool2: emotool2 is the continuation of emotool, and it is a much more poweful tool that can do more complex things like mixing parts of characters. Despite its name, this tool also has code to handle .emm and .emb files, although it is currently very complex to use for regular users.
Update: development of emotool2 continues in emotool3, which is the same, but with reworked source code.

- emotool3: emotool3 is the continuation of emotool2. With a much better and abstract source code, it has more probabilities of supporting better features in the future.

Changelog 0.041 -> 0.042:
- Added support for ema without skeleton (such as the XXX.cam.ema, which control the camera of some attacks). This is another important step towards the goal of attacks mix.
- ema.xml format changed to add a missing parameter. ema.xml of previous version is not longer compatible.

- Added a way to mix animations from characters. With this, you can copy animations from one ema to another. Please refer to the examples (currently only one) in mix_anims_examples to know how it works.

- sscharactertool2: this is a tool to convert .cms, .cdc and .csc files (of SSSS only) to readable .xml format, and back. (this tool is outdated and it is not needed anymore with SS Mods Installer)

- tdb2xml: this tool allows for easy conversion between .tdb files and .xml. Its purpose, in addition to change text of game, is to also being able to swap text ids by simply swapping their ids, which is usefor for some character mixes.
