I had no idea they didn't implement the subtitles for some languages. In spanish they seem to be fine, and I guess in english asw ell.
killuaxy, which language are you using in the game?

This is really awesome. Thanks a lot for the tutorial, Eternity. It really 100% worked for me (european Spanish subtitles here).
Anyway, I wanted to note something: I am playing the game with a mod that replaces BGM with the one from the anime, but this DLC uses the game's music itself (I suppose is the music from XV2, but maybe it has to do with the movie.cpk from XV1 containing the music from XV1 as I can't remember very well XV1's BGM).
Not really an issue, just wanted to comment the thing as it's kind of interesting for me haha.

I think what you are experiencing is that several songs in the game are "repeated". I guess the repeated versions are used by this dlc, but the guys that did the bgm mods only changed the tracks that were used by the regular game.

there is a seperate .acb and .awb in the extracted game files. you'll have to mod the acb in the files used to create the cpk for the dlc. (data/sound/bgm)
i played most of the legend patrol with my modded music.

I can correct that myself if it is only msg files that need to be edited to add those lines, do the "_es" files display battle dialogues correctly?

Yes, dialogue is shown correct in spanish from spain (.es files). But the msg files you need are not the ones in this created cpk. The msg files you need are files that exist normally in 1.09/1.09.1. The msg files for these quest are the cp_qs_epXX_* (the "ep" but not the "cep" ones, which I guess are the xv2 story). The conversations with the Waipa robot are probably in the lobby_text_* files. That said, in a quick look, I would swear I saw that the "ca" files also had text for these... so maybe the game somehow is filtering the languages for no reason.

Lobby_text_ca has the entries but they are empty, I only edited that file, and the game is not giving me problems, the story and battle dialogues are showing up fine. Thanks for the quick reply

I found another msg issue, on the GT story, some characters' names on the dialogues appear as unknown character, so I compared the ca and es variants of the file proper_noun_character_name and the ca file was missing three entries

Do we need a complete Xenoverse 1 with all of the DLC, or is just the base game fine?
Also are there conditions to make Waipa appear? Because I've hit an issue.
So, I have the Base XV1 from Steam, and I got XV2 1.08 for the files needed from there. I copied the required files into the legend patrol directory and extracted them with the tool.
I then used the CPKPacker to make the CPK (very carefully making sure I UNCHECKED the compress box) and it made the CPK successfully.
I then pasted the CPK into my CPK directory in my XV2.
However, Waipa is not appearing in the Time Nest where he's meant to be. The only issue I could think of is my progress (as I have XV2 Patcher and such already), as my character is in the middle of the Namek stuff right now. I don't have any finished characters to test on as I decided to start fresh here. Any thoughts?

Nevermind, I can now confirm it was a progression issue. Soon as I finished helping Vegeta beat Dodoria, Waipa showed up in the Time Nest.

I have no subtitles in polish language. Can you solve this ? If XV1 is translated into polish, then I guess something could be done about it by requiring another xv1 cpk, otherwise the legend patrol is not translated to polish. Although the conversations with Waipa are a xv2 thing only, so those would need a translator.
