Also, is there an in-game reason it jumps right from 32 to 45?

You have Beerus and Pan with the same ID number (21). Also, is there an in-game reason it jumps right from 32 to 45? Pan is 22, Beerus is 21. As for the other thing, the reason is probably to reserve a space for future teachers (this is regardless of wether they release a future update or not, they could just reserve it for xv3). It is worth to mention that, although Videl uses the id 45 as partner, internally (in the exe) as teacher she uses the same code than Gohan (17) with a separate variable to distinguish between them. So the list up to 32 is for teachers, and then you have the special ids at 45 only for partner purposes, which are Videl and Fu. Edit: actually, in the exe, in the array that translates from teacher id to cms name, after Zamasu, there are 7 entries with the code "RSV". (reserved, I guess). Why only 7, I don't know. |

Would it not have been more efficient to have Videl and Fu as 33 and 34, and then have any potential future mentors as 35 onwards? I mean, no one is really going to see the IDs unless they're modding the game (like us). Just seems weird to leave space in the middle and use up later numbers?

Fu is not a teacher, and Videl is, but as teacher she uses same id as Gohan. They left that space so that they could have all teachers together. If they put Fu, who is not a techer, after Zamasu, and then they decided to add another teacher, the teachers id list wouldn't be consecutive. |
