Hello and I'm new to the whole mod seen here. I've download the Installer and Patch Programs for XV2 but getting Confused on where to Drop items into the Correct folders using the Patcher. I've be too Xenoversemods.com and Downloaded a load of Mods but got no IDEA where to Install them Correctly. I've asked for Help on there Forum but have had NO LUCK with anyone Offering Help on How to Use the Patcher.
Items I've already download for modding are Listed below
Characters Skills CAC items Cosmics Clothing Transformations
And I have no idea where they go.
Also If I where to buy the DLC's from Steam before installing Mods and playing offline will DLC still be available in game after mods are installed or do i loose them.
Do installing Extra Characters over-right normal characters or do adding new Characters like Goku Ultimate Form from DBS get its own slot in game. How do you Add Slots for Extra Characters or will the Patcher do that for me by drag and drop.
Please Don't leave a fellow Modder Hanging. I Seriously Genuinely Need HELP Anyone will do. If there is a Guide that Explains this Stuff then drop me a Link in the Reply. Will not be able to mod if I can't get anyone to answer these small question.

Welcome to AGM. The first thing you need to do is to follow eternity's tool guide which you can find on this link: animegamemods.freeforums.net/thread/701/tools-eternity . - Start by downloading xv2patcher and extract its content inside the main game folder (default directory is "Steam\steamapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2"); - Then proceed to download XV2 Mods Installer and Adobe Flex sdk 4.6 (also found in eternity's thread). In this case, extract Adoble Flex sdk 4.6 somewhere (taken from eternity's thread: "Extract it somwhere in your system. Suggested location would be in C:\flex_sdk_4.6 (C or any other drive). (if you follow this advice, the installer will be able to locate it automatically).") and leave it at that. Now proceed to extract the xv2installer too (you can put it into your game folder), beware that some antivirus consider it as a false positive, hence you could make an exception for it into your av; - Download the 32 BIT VERSION of java, it is still needed even if you should have the 64 version already installed; - At this point All you have to do is to install through xv2inst the mods you have downloaded. They came in a fancy .x2m format which can be installed and associated with xv2inst. Almost every mod is installed this way. No mod (as long their descriptions don't say otherwise) will affect the dlcs in any way, they will still be there, available to you, be them stages, PQ or characters. When adding characters you have multiple options, like adding new slots and make them a separate characters, or install them over existing slots as costume characters (this make the roster more compact and ordered, there is no need to have multiple slots of goku when you can just put them all inside the original goku slot, without overwritting the original). As a last note, I don't want to sound like a dick, but eternity did already cover most of the things you asked for, which could have been simply found through the search feature. Since you are just new here I wanted to point that out . For further info, please refer to this thread animegamemods.freeforums.net/thread/821/xv2-mods-installer, which goes in depth details, should you face new issues.

Thanks for the Advise . It's not like I know where to Search for it since I am new but i know that not a reason for any excues but animegamemods.freeforums.net/thread/701/tools-eternity & animegamemods.freeforums.net/thread/821/xv2-mods-installer Don't explain where to Put Items only how to install the Programs witch I have already done before i posted the above. The Tool is not Self Explanatory because if it was it would be easy. Could you possible more Pacific on where to look in the Forum while searching for answers. Thanks for any further help you can provide.

XV2 Mods Installer is a program to install new character and skill mods (it may be expanded on the future). XV2 Mods Installer comes with three programs inside: the package creator (character), the package creator (skill) and the package installer. The package creators can be used to create (and edit existing) packages. The installer will actually install the package in the game. Advice: use the tools->associate x2m extension to register the extension with this program and the creator. After you do that, you will be able to install x2m mods with double click, and edit them with righ click->edit.
Quote gotten from the XV2 Mods installer topic, first post in, there are 3 references to the program and how it's a mod installer, and how it works. It doesn't mention anything about having to place the .x2m files in a specific place before installing them. You could always try running the program first too, so you can find out what it does and how it works. With all that said though, welcome to the forum.

Does the XV2 Mod installer Just only install Characters and Skills or More. Do I need to download the Tool xv2savdec and xv2savown from the Eternity tool page and can you explain what it does and do i need it. I Read the description but not Sure if it's needed.

The XV2 mod installer installs characters, skills and outfits.
You won't need XV2savedec or xv2savown. They're separate programs.
XV2 Mod installer doesn't edit your save.

I have not touched that so I can't help you further in that regard.
