I've never worked with a criware game before, and I have no idea what I'm doing. I unpacked the cpk files, and I was planning on modding in some new skills, but I don't even have any idea what I'm looking at here, with these .emb .emm .emo .ema .bac (etc) filetypes, nor what they correlate to, what tools I should be using to view and edit them, and which ones I even need to edit for what I need to accomplish. I've asked on the Discord server and I've asked a few people directly, but I never really got an answer. tl;dr: I have no idea what the following file extensions are, and I'd like someone to explain it to me in as much or as little detail as they care to and/or link me to whatever tutorial on the subject I apparently missed: - .emb
- .emm
- .emo
- .ema
- .bac
- .bas
- .bsa
- .ean
- .bcm
- and probably other relevant filetypes I just can't find or be asked to list.

You can work with them by using the libxenoverse which you can find here: github.com/DarioSamo/LibXenoverse (the bin folder cointans the tools to convert most of these files). Your best bet to find info about these format is to look at xenoverse ONE tutorials, as the process is pretty much the same. .emd contains the model .emb contains the texture .dyt.emb contains the colour used by the materials .emm dictates which colorus on the dyb.emb is assigned to which material .emo is associated with skills .bac and .bcm are complementary and both govern behaviour of the skills .ean contains the animations This is as much I was able to explain to you.

We finally have a dummy who is redoing the basic tutorials (all currently available ones are horribly outdated). We'll also put together a file purpose list. Please, just have a little more patience.
