Hey guys, Can someone help me convert Mastaklo's X: xenoversemods.com/mods/mega-man-x/And huy bv1998's Zero: www.mediafire.com/file/duuux9x8f94tuvw/Zero.rarFrom XV1 to XV2 .x2m? Just helping me do it by giving directions would be fine, no need to go through the hassle (if there is such). I tried to do it, with the XV2INS and some tutorials, but no alternatives worked, so there must be something I'm missing. If someone could tell me a basic step-by-step of how to do it, that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey guys, Can someone help me? Any kind of direction would be appreciated. I tried to make .x2m files for both mods, which worked in the past, but this time, no dice. I don't really know what to do.

We're not allowed to do that. It's against the rules, only the original authors can convert .x2m files and share them.

Oh. I didn't know that, sorry. That's a shame, I was really looking forward to playing with both X and Zero in new slots Hope the creators have those mods into their plans for XV2. Thanks for the heads up though.

If you want to convert an old public mod for your own personal use , you should be able to do so. Rename the 3 letter code to a unique code in the BCS(like MGM or something) in hex editor . Rename all the files to MGM. Then open it up in XV2characreator and create it In theory, this should work. This is what helps work with converting XV1 mods. There is no reason why you cannot be allowed to do it for your own personal use. Sharing it would be the issue, but OP is just asking for help on the method itself.

Yeah, it is for personal use. I would never post something that wasn't mine. But now I know why it takes a while to convert. Opening all files in a hex editor will be a chore! I'll do it when I have more time though. Thanks for the heads up!

So, I used that method on Mastaklo's X, and no dice. Though it doesn't work the normal, "replacing the original character in the game" way too (the disappearing error happens), so there's that. I'm guessing the mod needs some work done? Because I've seen the dude that created Zero using that X mod in a video preview of his, so there must be a way. As for Zero, here's the thing: the mod doesn't have a .bcs file :/ When I tried to use him on his original character, the game reads the model, but in the game, Zero appears already down, which I never seen in any other mods I've installed.
