Want to put the finishing touch on my characters but I don't know where to start.

STEP 1: In eternity's x2m characreat.exe, head to the "Files" tab of your character. Change "Battle Portrait" to "Use game battle portrait auto-generation". Save.
STEP 2: Head to the XV2PATCHER folder in your Xenoverse 2 Root Directory and open xv2patcher.ini (with a text editor). Scroll down a bit and under [Patches], change "dump_auto_gen_portrait = false" to "dump_auto_gen_portrait = true". Save and close.
STEP 3: Open the game and go to offline 1v1. Choose your character and then any random opponent. Choose the World Tournament Stage. Let the first few seconds of the battle play out, and then you may exit the game.
STEP 4: In your XV2PATCHER folder, there should be a new picture file called "portrait.bmp". This is your CSS portrait. Open it with any image editor and resize it to 50%. Save as DDS (Direct Draw Surface) with the following settings: DXT5, Iterative Fit, Uniform. You now have your finished portrait.
STEP 5: In the characreat.exe, head to the "Files" tab and under Select Portrait, change it to the file you just saved.
STEP 6: Head back the XV2PATCHER folder, open xv2patcher.ini and change "dump_auto_gen_portrait" back to false. This is important.
This is only one method and it isn't perfect, but I hope this helps! If you need screenshots, just let me know.
EDIT: Also, I have acquired an amateur yet effective enough understanding of eanorganizer so if you wanna add some custom animations to your character, I can help.

It's not so much needing new animation as it is fixing standing animations on some of my characters as seen here. This small issue aside, my pack of characters are nearly perfectly fine. Would you like me to send them to you so you can glance over them? All of them have this to some degree but most of them you wouldn't notice unless you were looking for it. They recently got denied when I submitted then to the Xenoverse modding site and i'm a bit miffed and disillusioned with this modding scene. As for the Select Portraits, I knew most of that but nothing I tried would export in DDS, even with proper codecs or extensions and I don't exactly feel like buying Photoshop just to try that.

Fixing the standing animation will technically require a custom animation, even if it's just moving the skeleton down so the character stands on the ground.
And let's be honest here, the Xenoversemods.com page is a complete mess anyway.

Yeah I know, it's just the thought of all the really shitty original characters and SSJ5 stuff clogging up the site and I go to the lengths of creating CaCs with purpose as well as befriend other modders by asking them nicely and getting their permissions for assests (such as the spats-less skirt and hair) just to be rejected is really kind of annoying. Especially when I put a bit of work into them already. But hey, I get it. I could have tried harder, learned how to use Blender and make my own models or something but this is a minor side hobby, I just wanted to share my modest stuff with others. I sound more upset about it then I really am and i'm going pretty off topic at this point lol. But if anyone does want me to send them to you for you to try out or just have, just say so or PM me. blah.
