Just wanted to say that by next week, this guide will be obsolete, since SS Mod Installer / sssspatcher will have their own .xml.cms file that will get compiled at runtime, overwriting any existing .cms file.
Usually, for new characters, modder will be able to specify the aura and cosmo in the xml that will go next to the mod. But if the user wants to change the cosmo/aura the modder specified or to change one of the vanilla character value, he will have to edit the file "cmn_model_spec.cms.xml" that will be located in the same folder as SSSS.exe. There won't be any need to convert the file to .cms, as sssspatcher will compile that file at runtime, and sscharactertool2 will become obsolete.
