Overlord please take the time to read our rules and guidelines. It doesn't matter which tools may or may not work with stolen games, we do not support piracy or any kind of unlawful activity on our websites. Continuing this conversation will be a reason to exclude you from participation.

Neither is that chinese nor did they make those mods. They translated them, maybe mashed some mods together, but it was people from this community who created what you see in those videos. Lazybones stuff for the most part I think, some generic recolors thrown in here and there.

Heh, admin privileges rule! Can post in closed threads.
Anyway. eternity is not *waiting until an update comes out.* Game devs have this neat practise called a hotfix. You accidentally break your game, you release a quick patch that glues the game back together before you work on a larger update. Hotfixes usually come out days or a week or two after big updates to fix mistakes the devs missed during development. That's what eternity is looking out for. Beyond that timeframe it is unlikely that dimps will do anything major before their next cashgrab I mean game update.

I think people gotta chill. Including moderators. And youtubers who can't wait for the patcher should see this as the perfect opportunity to branch out and diversify their content :V

He explains why it might take longer in the post I referred to. The new XV2 update caused some bugs, he is waiting for dimps to either do something about it or until it's clear that they won't. If he finishes the patcher and dimps is updating the game to fix their bugs it'd most likely break the patcher again.

guys we just have to be patient that the patcher comes out, eternity usually takes a week or two. So please don't say that it will take a month ;-). I'm sure it will take a week ... first update X2QS Script Actions then xvins and finally the patcher :-), so be patient. I will say that it might take a month, or even more. Because eternity said it might take a month or more. Check on his tool thread, it's in there.

"We have people on backup" might be phrased a bit authoritarian. It'd be more accurate to say that given eternity's source code and documentation there are several people in this community who could pick up his work should he decide to back away from it for good. Think of Olganix, Lazybone or Yuuki. I also have heard amazing things about demonboy, although I can't say I am too knowledgable about his skillset.
As long there is interest in modding the game there will be mods. The patcher and the mod installer are very well working and incredibly advanced tools, creating an alternative to them at this point would be a waste of anyone's time.

Somebody may or may not have hit the wrong button there. ^^ The hypothetical person is incredibly sorry and has apologized multiple times. Let's not give him any heat, aight?
Anyway, eternity's thread just held the links to his tools, not the data itself. It's easy to make a new one. He is already aware that the thread is gone and people think it was him (it wasn't), I sent him a message and asked if he could just make a new one.

Rai and Kuramasama this discussion is off topic at this point and if either of you wants to pursue it any further, do it in DM.

to be fair, most of those dlc limitations are imposed by the publisher, not by the developer. if it was up for most developers they'd add all those dlc things to the main game, apparently.

one question my old mods will work with the new dlc or i must mod everything from new? you have to reinstall them after you installed the dlc. but x2ms don't have to be remade unless they contain important system data in JUNGLE.

Chill Rai. Tbh Extra Packs after DLC4 weren't initially planned and are therefore rightfully DLC, no matter how you look at it. The season pass culture is the only reason tho why the first 4 were DLC to begin with. However, if they were included in the original game, they would've been a lot less unique. As Goku Rosé proves, initially it was planned to be another copy of Goku with different skills. Thanks to fan backlash though they made it unique. There are arguments to be had that making more DLC in the end benefits the game overall quality as fan response can influence this content. I get that. Still very much a bummer that these extra tidbits raise the overallprice of a product so sky high...

I'll just say I miss the old days when we could unlock all characters while playing. Nothing more. Have a good day. I agree, unconditionally.

All wrong. go to .../Steam/steamapps/common/DB Xenoverse 2/XV2PATCHER/ and open xv2patcher.ini. Look for excessive_air_contamination = false and replace false with true. Make sure offline_mode is false, same as fs_event_offline. You're welcome. Don't select any mods while playing online, unless you know your partner has the exact same mods in the exact same order installed.

it needs to know the directory your game is installed to, which is in most cases C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steanapps\common\DB Xenoverse 2\

you can connect your xbox controller to the pc and play xenoverse that way. it'll display the proper xbox buttons in that event.
